Founded in 2005, the DXC (Dunkxchange) started as an event that gave the infamous sneaker head an opportunity to purchase rare kicks from their fellow counterparts. When the Dunkxchange Founder Gary Hughes created this event it was because of his purchase of fake shoes online. The concept came to fruition as a solution for Gary and other advent sneaker collectors to have a place to purchase product with out fear. Since its original inception the Dunkxchange has extended its reaches Nationally and Internationally. With its ever growing popularity the DXC now host events in Vancouver, Hawaii, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, New Zealand, and other major cities around the globe. The events core love for sneakers isn’t the only element driving people to the Dunkxchange. Naturally with footwear being able to be directly related to fashion which coincides with music which relates to art. The Dunkxchange is able to include elements of music, dance, fashion, and art to its event. With this stemming from the events core roots this creates an environment that allows attendees to bask in numerous amenities that the DXC offers. The Dunkxchange now caters to a larger audience base with Live Performances, Special Guest DJ’s, Celebrity attendance, clothing companies, art exhibits and other popular elements in the Hip Hop, Urban, and Streetwear culture. With a track record of 6 years and more than 200 events the Dunkxchange has grown to be a staple in the Fashion, Music, and Art communities.
